Cyanide Covenant

Ok pretty basic stuff here, but just to clarify:

1. Only leave links to other websites that clearly add to the conversation. Any blatant pimping of another sites will be removed, unless it is totally LOOLOLOL.

2. The forum is a place where we can all hang out with people from all over the world. This will lead to the exchange of ideas that you may not completely agree with and ultimately may end up in a flame war.
It is OK to debate with others and defend your corner, however there is a fine line between doing it in a respectful way and making people feel like a tit. Unfriendly and bitter rivalries will not be tolerated, we should all be buddies here, so please argue nicely.

3. Listen to the senior Cyaniders. They are here to help answer questions and make conversations run more smoothly. Don't hesitate to message them with any questions or concerns. You can find these guys here: http://www.simplecyanide.com/content/about-us

4. Try to avoid using 'bad' words. This is a board for all age groups and we all know that some words or phrases aren't appropriate for everyone. Use them accordingly to add to the extra LOL factor.

5. Don't put or talk illegal stuff here. Illwgal stuff mean crap like porn/nudity, warez, hacks, cracks, viruses and pirated content.

6. Don't be a n00b. Like spamming the boards, being an obnoxious prick, anything in the rules above and generally anything that the community decides sucks

Just be a responsible and respectful Cyanider.

Point System Drill Down

Yo,

I'm guessing everyones seen the points system thingy. You've probably guessed by now but you score points depending on what you do on the website, here is a list of what you can do to score points and how much you get just so that you know:

15 points - Creating your profile (you can only do this once - done by filling in about me)
10 points - Writing a blog or a review
5 points - Creating a forum topic
1 point - Commenting / replying on anything

How you think its going / ways it could be improved?

New Features

New Features added the other day ...

Score: You might have noticed that top users section on the right hand bar. Everything you do from now on gets scored. So basically the more you do the higher your score goes. Different points for different things etc. A good way for displaying the top users I thought!
Reviews: Privileged can now post reviews. This is just an alternative to posting a blog entry. Along with the post you can add in a score (measured in stars) and upload the game cover!
